Dear Sarah,

Here is my dancing baby in her tutu and wings. They were gifts from Grandma for Valentine's Day and they are her favorites! Just thought you'd get a kick out of her. Love you!

P.S. Jesse didn't get the Pixar internship. But we're going to have a rockin' summer anyway!

Prayers for Jesse

Hey family and friends!
Jesse officially applied to an internship at Pixar for Summer 2009. Crazy! The faculty told the students the application wasn't due until March 1, and then two days ago they wrote an email saying, "Surprise! It's due by February 11 at midnight!" Not so much fun for us. If Jesse is selected for an interview, they will be conducting them on February 18 at the Wilk. So, this is where I ask everyone to pray for Jesse! Just pray that everything will work out as it's supposed to and that Jesse will do well in his interview. We also found out that only ONE student from the program gets to go on this intership. Other internships at Pixar take more students, but they're for more advanced students. We're way excited and we're really hoping it happens! If we do get it, it will be from June to August. Huzzah! So again, pray for us. Love you!

Ms. Potato Head

As that title states: Ms. Potato Head! Abby insists on wearing the potato head glasses. I think they're quite lovely on her, don't you think? I just thought I'd share the pics because they crack me up. Goodness, I love my baby. P.S. For anyone who cares to know.. our life is wonderful. I'm still a full-time mom and Jesse no longer lives with us. He has moved out. I believe he still loves me, but he couldn't resist the beautiful animation labs. So, he's into the animation labs with nothing but the clothes on his back and his backpack containing all of the essentials: laptop, digital painting tablet, sketchbook, pencils, etc. Please do not take that last statement literally. ;) Haha, sometimes it feels that way though. He comes home for two hours a day to have dinner and play with Abby and then heads back to the labs to do his homework. Such is the student life! And for fun: Jesse is applying to an internship to Pixar for this summer. Pray for us that we can get it! Love you all!

I wish this girl would consent to wear bows. Oh Meghan, I still need to respond to your email!

P.S.S. Does anyone know a website that will print your blogs?

Shocking, I know.

What is so shocking about this blog? Absolutely nothing except the fact that I finally blogged again. I hit a point where so many people commented that I never blog anymore that I didn't WANT to blog anymore. I gave in today and decided to share Abby's adventures. The pictures are not in order, but oh well, right?

Sorry this picture is so washed out. She's showing me the moose at the Monte L. Bean Museum of Life in Provo. If you haven't been, then go. Abby's favorite animals: elk, moose, peacock, and the fish.

Driving to the Museum. Abby insisted that "Momo" needed to meet the aforementioned Moose.

Lunch: Chicken nuggets, string cheese, and blueberries. She's showing you her blue tray that matches her new blue booster seat. Woah.

A true "cheese" for the camera.

Good meal.

Hey Alabama, are you sure you miss the snow?

We got home from Alabamama/Salt Lake late Sunday night. The weather in Alabama was amazing--it was warm enough that we could play outside without jackets! Abby loved being able to play on the slides again. I miss that weather!! It started snowing in Provo Monday morning, and didn't stop snowing until this morning. Kenzie came to play with me last night and when I tried to take her car to pick up Jesse, it was totally stuck! It took forever to get it out and when I reparked it on the other side of the street, it got stuck again. Lame. So we started diggin' out the driveway and the car so she could park next to our car on the driveway. May I repeat: Alabama, are you sure you guys miss the snow? Good grief!
